In case of emergency

Bathroom Ventilation

Please always use the ventilation in the bathroom after having a shower. It is the switch with the red light in thebathroom. It is important to use the ventilation after a shower because the extra humidity can do damage in theapartment. You can turn it off after one hour.

Please also take care that the floor in the bathroom is dry after you take a shower.

Garbage

Please separate the garbage into glass, organic (brown dustbin), paper (green dustbin), plastic (Yellow bag) and theresidual waste in the black dustbin.

Please bring these to the room of large dustbins to empty them.
These are located past the fishing shop, along the little river in the garage at the end of the path.

Please note the sorting instructions otherwise a payment up to 200 € must be paid.

Outdoor light

The outdoor light switch is next to the light switch for the inside lights. Please turn the outside light on and leave it thatway always. Thank you so much!

Internet / Wi-Fi

Please use “Thomasmühle Ferienwohnungen” the provider is hotspot.
You just have to accept the Terms and Conditions (AGB).

Laundry

We are very pleased to announce that we can provide a coin-operated washing machine and a coin-operated dryer.Both are in the upper entrance of the apartments 13-18.

For a wash / tumble cycle you only need 6x 0.50 cents coins – no matter what wash cycle you choose. Access the Operating Instructions for information about programs and cycles.

The operating times, which means the time when the wash must be finished are: 9:00 – 12:30 a.m. / 2:00 – 6:00 p.m.
This is for 7 days of the week.

Please be sure to pay attention to these times – this means if you turn on the machine at 4 o‘clock it must be finishedat 6 o‘clock.

Do not use too much detergent otherwise the machine will be defective.

If you discover that the washing machine is faulty or leaking please contact us immediately.

Cooking

We would like to offer you a weekly cleaning for a long term stay, please contact us to find a day which works for you.

The cleaning staff will not take out your garbage for you.

Microwave

The microwave is usually mounted above.

Please be especially careful with liquid food- like soups- and drinks, that the hot liquids do not splash into your face.

Equipment

Please always check that all devices are turned off.

Please close the windows every time you leave, turn off all devices in your apartment, and turn off the lights in yourapartment while you´re away.

Do not keep any devices under running water or with wet hands.

Please do not take any equipment / hair dryer into the shower.

Please let us know immediately if something is broken.

Cleaning

We would like to clean your apartment on Wednesday morning, if this not ok with you just let us know by putting the“do not disturb” sign on the door.

The cleaning staff will not take out your garbage for you.

Stairs

If you have stairs in your apartment:

• Please use the handrail.
• Don´t go down or up with socks on your feet or wet feet, at the same time.

Windows

Please always close the windows when you leave. The weather could change while you are away.

I would like to ask you the favor to close the windows when the heating is on due tot he energy crises we are in.

You need to open them for a short while, in the morning and in the evening in the wintertime for ventilation.

Local animals

Don´t forget your living on a farm in an historical mill building.

There will be animals you might not know and things might happen you are not used to.

No Insects or Animals here in this area are venomous or dangerous.

Emergency numbers

What to do if you have an emergency!
The emergency numbers in Germany are
110 (Police) and 112 (Fire Brigade & Ambulance). You can dial free of chargefrom any public call box. Note that you can’t call 112 with a phone without SIM card. Through the 112 number, you cancall for an ambulance (Krankenwagen).

You just tell them your Name and the Adress (Rammersdorferstrasse 3, 91578 Leutershausen) and your apartmentnumber! Tell them there have to go on the backside of the building and where your apartment is located.

There is a fist aid kit in the main entrance 13-18

Pharmacies (Apotheken)
If you urgently need medication, the pharmacy emergency section (Apotheken-Notdienst) in local newspapers givesthe addresses of the pharmacies open outside normal hours. You can also visit any local pharmacy, which will list theaddress of the closest open Notdienst in the window or on the door.

Chemists on emergency duty are open all day and all night, you may need to ring a bell for attention out of hours. Extrafees are charged for night and weekend service.

Fire

There is a fire alarm, a fire blanket und a spray if you have a grease fire in every apartment.

Please try to find out when the alarm rings what the reason is – sometimes it starts when there is too much steamfrom cooking.

If you really have a fire you and can´t help yourself with the blanket or the spray please call the phone number
112 – it’sthe fire emergency call.

Please do not light candles, or any fire in the apartment!

Qualifying emergencies are as follows:
Power Outage, Major leak, Clogged toilet, Non-functioning heat when outside temperature is less than 60 degrees,Internet or Cable outage, No running water, Locked out of the residence.

All other safety emergencies should be directed to local police, fire safety, or other professional emergencyresponders.
